Abstract

The article examines the reasons statements of electric locomotives on unplanned repair in Lviv railway, causes wear of the mechanical units of electric locomotives, features and characteristics of the kinematic scheme cradle suspension  locomotives. Designed recommendations to improve the performance and reliability of the mechanical part of the series electric locomotives VL10, VL11M, VL80.
